I had an issue with my laptop charger. I had previously received some advice from a different computer repair shop (buy a new charger), but this proved ineffective. PC Expert diagnosed the real problem (bad charger port), and had it repaired very quickly. The business was very direct, and there was no miscommunication. My computer was back to working order in just two days. The service was fantastic. I have not had a single issue with my laptop since. Quality repair job!

I have experienced nothing but GREAT SERVICE form THE PC EXPERT! On my second trip to THE PC EXPERT Syed outdid himself again; I received EXCELLENT SERVICE, a QUICK REPAIR and a GREAT PRICE for all of the work that he did. I took my laptop to be repaired at about 11.30 on Friday morning, after noticing the fan had completely stopped working. I became really stressed when I first noticed the problem as I was due to go away for work early the next morning, however when I arrived in store I was put as ease when Syed said he would be able to fix the problem that day. By 4.30pm my laptop was ready for collection. Not only had Syed fixed the original problem, the broken fan, he had also repaired several other minor problems for a great price. These repairs included replacing a missing key on my keyboard, fixing the mouse buttons, and repairing the hinges on my screen, along with other minor repairs inside and out. Syed also provided me with great tips on how to maintain and protect my pc better in the future. I cannot fault the service I received at THE PC EXPERT. PROFESSIONAL, FAST, AFFORDABLE and EFFICENT! GREAT IMPROVEMENTS IN START-UP…..

I contacted Syed at PC Expert on Friday 30/05/2014 after the hard-drive on my Toshiba Satellite A660 failed. He said he could diagnose the fault and potentially repair the problem. If not, he could quote me for repairs and recover my data. Turns out my drive were toast so he provided me with a number of options, including the option I eventually went for which was upgrading my drive to an SSD. This has resulted in great improvements in start-up and the speed of my laptop overall. He also managed to recover all my data. All the work was completed the next day and Syed even stayed open past his usual closing time to finish the work for me. Any problems with my laptop in future (fingers crossed there won't be any) and Syed will be the person I contact. Thanks very much for your help.

It wasn't clear to me what was actually causing my laptop not to charge, I initially took my laptop into a different repair shop very local, who had quoted me a ridiculously overpriced amount for a replacement that was totally irrelevant to the problem.

BRILLIANT FOR STUDENTS…

My laptops hard drive was broken and I desperately needed it fixed for my assignments. Thankfully the PC Expert replaced my hard drive AND managed the salvage the data. I didn't expect anymore but they went the extra mile, updated my internet security, and cleaned my laptop of cookies and viruses and taught me a few techniques in a professional style consultation how to improve my laptop speed and the best way to prevent malicious data. PERFECT FOR STUDENTS…..

I accidently broke my housemate's disc drive of his laptop. Was seriously worried that it would cost lots of money to repair.  When into the shop at half 10 and the problem was fixed on the same day, picked the fixed laptop up at half 2. Very happy with how quickly the laptop was fixed.  Very friendly service and only cost £10 (happy as I’m a poor student) the guy inserted DVD's and CD's to reassure me that the disc drive was fixed. When my laptop suffered a problem I was initially hesitant towards giving my laptop to anyone other than someone I knew. However, after being told about THE PC EXPERT I decided to give it a try. I gave my laptop in on Friday and by Saturday evening the problem had been fixed. Syed promised me that it would be done on Saturday, and he worked incredibly hard to do it, but he did. THE PRICE WAS GREAT AND THE SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY FAST ....

I cannot fault Syed at the PC EXPERT in Leicester! I have so many positive things to say and have already been recommending to everyone! My laptop battery didn't work, my fan was over-heating and making an awful noise and it was just overall, a slow computer. Syed gave me a through diagnosis of what my problem was, talking me through what was needing done. I explained that I was a student and didn't have enough money to buy a new laptop and he genuinely tried to save me money by recommending where to get a cheap new battery. He also cleaned up my desktop and put a new anti-virus in for no extra charge and this is something I truly valued as most places try to rip you off especially as a student not help. He even recommended that I got the work done in stages to spread the cost. I would recommend to anyone, the price was great and the service was extremely fast and genuine.

We needed our iMac LCD screen replacing, as it had been damaged. We are a business and it was important to be able to use our computer as soon as possible. We just could not find an affordable replacement in our area, which is Northamptonshire. We called many companies up and down the country, including Apple themselves for advice and prices. No one could seem to either locate a part suitable for our machine or give us an honest price. Until we were given The PC Expert's details. We contacted Syed to ask if he could get a suitable LCD screen for our mac, and within a few days, he had managed to get the part into his shop and quoted us with a very reasonable price for the part including fitting. WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE PC EXPERT FOR ANY COMPUTER PROBLEMS......

I have brought my laptop to be fixed by the PC expert 3 times now. The first time I spilt juice on it and it went blank, I took it to the PC expert panicking and he fixed it and reassured me on better care of my laptop. The second time someone sat on it and the screen cracked. Again the PC expert replaced my screen with a brand new screen specific for my laptop at really good price and also gave me a warranty for free on top as he is very kind to students. The third time I took my laptop it had developed a virus that was taking up hard drive space and I couldn't save information. Again the PC expert was very good at cleaning my laptop and installed safer systems to help prevent that happening. I do hope my laptop does not misbehave again but if it does, i would not hesitate to go back again because not only has the PC expert been very professional, he has shown great skill at dealing with problems and also a measure of kindness that always helps when the fear of laptop death is imminent. I would totally recommend the PC expert for any computer problems, you are guaranteed a job well done and an excellent customer service.5 stars The PC expert!!

WELL DONE AND ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND SUPER FAST SERVICE FROM THE PC EXPERT

Visited The PC Expert shop on Friday 3rd august, to see whether or not they could do a custom PC build for me, as I needed these PC's A.S.A.P Had a conversation with the owner who knew what he was talking about and asked me to show him the components and cases, Oh I forgot to mention I asked him to do two custom builds for me which was around about 2:30pm ish. Dropped off the cases and components reluctantly, as id just spent a grand on components About 3 hours later thought I'd pop in and see how things were going or well basically to get a time of completion from the owner as other business had stated that they needed 2-3 working days to finish which was a joke. Low and behold to my amazement there where two finished PC's just sitting there on his counter completely finished ready to use. All I can say is what a fantastic and dedicated person and many many thanks once again for the completely super fast service from The PC Expert. Would unquestionably recommend to anyone and everyone! IMAC 24” - 70+ POSITIVE REVIEWS ... REALLY SAYS SOMETHING SPECIAL........

70+ positive reviews by this point really says something special. And let me start off by saying 'The PC Expert' is an understatement, try 'The PC and Mac Expert'. I am a seasoned computer user, so I'm usually the 'tech guy' whenever my friend’s computers start playing up. However I have an iMac as well as a PC, and that requires a little more specialist knowledge to deal with if you haven't dealt with them before. I'm sure some of you reading this would have heard of Apple's extortionate pricing for repairs, even some who have paid the £20 to just have their machine looked at, told to buy a new one, but ended up going to independent computer repair experts who actually end up fixing their machine. This is the sort of miracle worker that The PC Expert (Syed Ali) is. From the moment I rang him he was friendly and you wouldn't have trouble explaining your problem to him. When I took my machine in he clearly let me know what options I have, so I never felt pressured to have anything done which you don't feel is right for you. He will made sure I understood what's going on so you I had a definite peace of mind. The PC Expert quoted me for a job after some diagnostic work to see how much needs to be done. However the actual job itself took a lot more work than he estimated for which he could have charged me more for, but he stuck with the original quote which was very decent of him. The repair job required would have cost a fortune and cowboy computer repairers could have easily ripped you off for this job. He was however completely transparent about everything so you knew absolutely you could trust him with the job, and he managed to save my precious data. If he knows there are aspects you can easily handle yourself he will tell you what you can do yourself and give you the option to do so if you so wish, bonus points for education and saving on labour costs! To my knowledge there are very few qualified computer repair folk around here who can handle Apple tech properly. If you have any PC or Mac woes which you can't handle yourself I would recommend The PC Expert to anyone. You know you will leave getting an absolutely fantastic job done that is value for money. In a nutshell brilliant service, fast job done, absolutely worth the money, professionally handled, peace of mind and overall a job well done! Will definitely return for anything I can't figure out myself!

MY 7TH VISIT FOR VARIOUS PC ISSUES......

This has been my 7th visit for various pc issues. This latest one was for replacing new motherboard. What a fab job he has done. A well-diagnosed, fast and friendly service. I knew little over the years on the inside of my computer, but since I met with the PC Expert he has always taken the time out and showed me exactly where the fault lies unlike many mechanics that feed on you over you naivety and lack of knowledge. There is no exaggeration and the costs are competitive and very reasonable. The best part of the service is when ever I've come with n issue he takes time and care over the customers ensuring they leave less stressed and more satisfied albeit if it is advice you were after. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERVICES OF PC EXPERT SERVICES....

Hi! Recently, my laptop was a victim of virus attack. I been to quite few I.T service providers to fix the problems but failed to get reasonable solution and price apart from PC Expert. I will like to highly recommend services of PC expert services. It was the money well spends. I rate the service as an A-Star as I needed the Laptop on the same day and I did get it on time. I am a photographer/videographer and I wanted a powerful PC. I wanted the computer specification to suit my business needs. Then I found THE PC EXPERT through Google (thanks to Google) and by reading their positive 5 star reviews, I took quotes from several shops in Leicester, including from The PC Expert. I was happy to find that I would have my custom built computer (Mammoth) in my budget. They build the computer (Mammoth) in 2 days. They gave me a demonstration of every single feature on my Mammoth. I am very happy that every program (e.g. Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection) that I install does not slow down my Mammoth. In short I saved a lot and got what I wanted. VERY PLEASED I WENT TO THE PC EXPERT.......

THE PC EXPERT repaired my laptop while I waited at a very reasonable price. The DC jack was broken. Another company I had spoken to couldn't replace this when it was welded to the motherboard, as in my case, but were going to have to order in the whole unit at great expense and incurring a delay of several days. As the company name states The PC Expert is an Expert! I got a quick friendly and cost-effective service for my laptop. In addition, the PC Expert also sorted out several other problems on my laptop which I did not know about for an additional fee. I was kept fully informed with everything that was being done. When I collected my machine, I was explained to fully all the work that was done and why it was done as well as why alternative fixes were not done. I was given advice on how to prevent the problem re-occurring as well as general advice on how to maximise the use of my machine. Was friendly polite and seems to love what he does. I started a new business and wanted to setup a powerful sever with 10 computers. We took quotes from different reputable computer companies in Leicester. Then we got a quote from The PC Expert, which was unbelievably reasonable. They did everything in one day. All the computers were preconfigured no hassle/time waste. They gave us complete free remote support between 10am 7pm(Monday To Friday). They saved us a lot (money/time) and I have recommended them to other businesses. EXPERT WHO CAN WORK ON PCS, LAPTOPS & MAC MACHINES AT THE SAME TIME.........

My Mac Book Pro was giving me some serious trouble. I could not tolerate it anymore (it was out of warranty). After an exhaustive research on the Internet and phone discussions with different shops in Leicester, I found The PC Expert (an honest, unpretentious and unfailing proficient). I took my Mac Book Pro to their shop with good faith. Everything promised they did, with everything up to the mark. They diagnosed my Mac Book Pro in no time and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable as compared to the other Mac repair shops in Leicester. I got my Mac Book up and running in 2 hours. FANTASTIC SERVICE THE BUSINESS NAME SAYS IT ALL: THE PC EXPERT.....

My kids are very good at finding viruses, especially the deadly ones. He killed them all. I have used him on numerous occasions and each time, not has he managed to find the problem, but also his prices have been cheaper than anyone else. I always compare my prices with other similar tradesman before carrying out anything. PC Expert is not only the cheapest but he is a true professional in his work, in his explanation when he gives the computer back, and his after sales, if you happen to need him. The time he is prepared to give you is unbelievable. PC Expert will always give you genuine advice even if it means you not buying anything from him. The biggest problem with computers is that you have to take the word of the person you are taking the computer to. Sadly most of them tend to rip you off by telling you to do things you really don't need and therefore spending money that you really don't need to spend. You can rest assured that PC Expert will not rip you off and you will only spend what is necessary.

Late on Saturday afternoon, my computer was infiltrated with a virus and I was panicking as I had project deadline on Monday. I went online to obtain any computer repair service available in my area. I am a University Student. My Mac Book Pro was giving me problems. It was shutting down after 20 minutes and was not charging the battery. I changed two chargers but no joy. ACER ASPIRE SCREEN PROBLEM…………

Just like to say thanks for the great job THE PC EXPERT did on my laptop. I took my laptop into THE PC EXPERT shop on Monday 10th August 2010 and they diagnosed the problem as a broken screen. THE PC EXPERT said the Laptop would be ready the next day and true to his word it was. When I went to collect my laptop I had some more good news, the estimated cost was even cheaper so thanks for being honest as well. A JOB WELL DONE.......

I had a problem with my Acer Laptop and after reading all the testimonials on the PC EXPERT web site I decided to give take it there.  I entered the shop and was warmly greeted by the PC EXPERT himself.  I explained the problem to THE PC EXPERT and it was diagnosed as a broken screen. I was given a price for a replacement screen which I agreed to and was told my laptop would most likely be ready the next day.  I received a phone call from THE PC EXPERT the next day to say my Laptop was fixed and ready to pick up.  I arrived at the shop and THE PC EXPERT told me the repair was going to be cheaper than first quoted which I found to be very honest. I must say if anybody has got a Desktop PC problem or Laptop problem don't hesitate take it to the PC EXPERT you won't be disappointed.  Once again THE PC EXPERT Thank you for a job well done.

Having had trouble with my laptop I was pleased to stumble across the PC EXPERT via Google search. My wife and I are very satisfied with the customer service and were pleased with the time dedicated to ourselves to show us what the problem's) were with our laptop despite us being complete amateurs when it comes o computing. I must admit after trying so many computer service providers only The PC EXPERT was able to fix my laptop and recovered data from hard drive. The check-up was free (not to forget almost everywhere you'll have to pay check-up charges). I was informed what it will cost for the whole job before fixing anything. I was not aware how many unnecessary applications were running in the background which were slowing my laptop, so was recommended safe freeware, and not are very easy to use. I found the PC EXPERT from Google where people had already recommended. And I will also strongly recommend anyone. REMEMBER check up is free.....
